Kristin von Kelnig is a beautiful, smaller-sized 2 year old German Shepherd. She's a fun, loveable girl who uses her walks to scent things and follow a trail. Occasionally she will turn around to check up on you and then continue to track, not being distracted by anything. Of mid-energy, Kristin is very alert, confident and independent. She is happy to stand on her hind legs for extended periods of time if you will keep petting her head. Kristin enjoys being active; she loves hikes, long walks and anything that includes using her energy. She has awesome manners, always behaving like a lady. Kristin seems not to have received much affection in her early life so everything is new to her. She comes out a bit shy at first but, once she trusts you, she does not want you to stop petting her and will lean into you for more. Kristen will sniff a new dog while wagging her tail. She prefers dogs to be somewhat calm at first while meeting her, if they come up to her attitude, she gives them a quick warning. Once she is comfortable with a dog, she becomes very happy and energetic. She would love to be in a home with another dog that enjoys rough-housing and that will run around with her. Kristin does not do well with other dominant dogs. This sweet girl will be a great addition to your home.
